What achievements do the awards recognize?

Six awards will be given in 2015

  • Analytic Excellence: Presented to an organization that has demonstrated real innovation in its use of analytics to improve business results. FICO solutions used could include predictive models, decision models, optimization, scores or any other FICO solutions.
  • Customer Onboarding and Management: Presented to the organization that has achieved outstanding results through using analytics and decision management to attract new customers, manage onboarding, increase customer profitability, increase customer product holdings and retain customers. Any FICO solutions could be used.
  • Debt Management: Presented to an organization that has achieved outstanding results through risk assessment and targeted customer decisions. FICO products could include FICO scores, FICO TRIAD Customer Manager, FICO Debt Manager, FICO Risk Intervention Manager, custom solutions or FICO consulting.
  • Fraud Control: Presented to an organization that has achieved outstanding results in detecting fraud and reducing fraud losses and costs. FICO products could include Falcon Fraud Manager, FICO Card Alert Service, FICO Fraud Predictor with Merchant Profiles, FICO Fraud Resolution Manager, FICO Insurance Fraud Manager, FICO Claims Fraud Manager, FICO Application Fraud Manager, custom fraud solutions or FICO fraud consulting.
  • Decision Management Innovation: Presented to an organization that has solved specific business challenges or advanced its results in any area using decision management technology. FICO products could include the FICO Decision Management Suite, any of its components, or another FICO solution.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Presented to an organization that has used analytics and decision management technology to improve its compliance with regulations, reduce costs related to compliance or meet regulations while also improving business results with a single program or initiative. FICO products could include the FICO Decision Management Suite, any of its components, FICO Model Central, FICO Model Builder, FICO analytics, FICO scores, FICO consulting or other FICO solutions.

Who can submit a nomination?

We encourage all FICO clients to submit an application. Benefits do not have to have been achieved in a specific calendar year.

  • Recognition at FICO’s annual conference, FICO World 2016, in Washington DC. Winning implementations will be featured and highlighted during various conference activities.

How are winners selected?

An independent panel of judges will evaluate submissions based on the following criteria:

  • Measurable improvement in key metrics
  • Demonstrated use of best practices
  • Project scale, depth and breadth
  • Innovative uses of technology

The 2015 judges include:

  • Michael Versace, Global Research Director, IDC
  • Michael Wu, Chief Analytic Officer at Lithium Technologies
  • Additional judges to be named

About your application

The information you provide on your application will be used by the judges to determine the winners. FICO will use the information provided in the application to develop a profile on each company receiving an award. Winning companies will have the opportunity to review and approve their profiles.

Your entry should be reviewed by your corporate communications or public relations department before submission. By submitting your application, you confirm that your corporate communications or public relations department has reviewed the application, and understand the competition commitments and uses of information outlined above.

The information you provide during the interview will be used to draft a nomination. You will have the opportunity to review and approve the nomination before submission.
