When is FICO World 2016?
The conference takes place Tuesday, April 26 to Friday, April 29, 2016. There will be a number of additional events beforehand and these will be online shortly. We recommend you arrive on Sunday, April 24, if you intend to join us on Monday, or come Tuesday, April 26, if you plan to start on Tuesday, and stay through Friday .The conference will close at 2pm on Friday, April 29.

What is the attire for FICO World 2016?
Business casual attire is appropriate. Please also bring a jacket in case of cool room temperatures.

You will receive your FICO World 2016 materials at the registration desk when you arrive at the conference.

Where do the attendees come from?
FICO World is a global event. FICO World 2014 hosted representatives from 45 countries.
Are students allowed to attend?
We’re sorry, but FICO World is a professional event and attendance is limited to qualified business and technology professionals over the age of 18.
How do I have my name removed from the mailing list?
To request the removal of your name from future FICO World communications (by e-mail or mail), send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org specifying your name, company name, and mailing or e-mail address.
Will Wi-Fi be available?
Yes, all common conference areas will have complimentary Wi-Fi. There will also be internet access and print stations throughout the conference.
What is the cost to attend?
Standard registration is $1599 and Onsite registration is $1699
Is there a group discount policy?
Yes, FICO World 2016 offers a group rate of $1199 per attendee for 5 or more attendees from the same company. Please email email@example.com for a group code.
Is there a registration closing date?
We keep registration open right until the event starts. However, rates increase periodically and spaces do fill up quickly. We recommend you register early.
Can you send me an invoice for the conference registration? My accounts department needs it to process payment.
Yes, you can request an invoice during the registration process. Then you can make the payment by wire transfer, check or credit card. All payments are due 14 days prior to the event.
What types of payment do you accept for the FICO World registration fees?
All registration fees for FICO World 2016 are in U.S. dollars. Three forms of payment are accepted: Credit/Debit cards (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa), wire transfers, and checks (via invoice). Payment is required 14 days prior to the conference.
Does the registration fee include air transportation and hotel accommodations?
All air transportation, airport transfers and hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the attendee and are not included in conference fees.
Will I receive confirmation of my registration?
Yes. After you register online, you will receive an automated email confirming your registration. If you do not automatically receive it, please check any spam folders.
Can I make changes to my FICO World 2016 registration after I submit it?
Yes, your email conference registration has a link you can click on to access your registration to make any edits.
Can I print my registration receipt?
Yes, upon submission you will have the opportunity to print it. You will also receive a confirmation email.
If I’m coming from outside the U.S., how can I get a formal invitation letter for my visa application?
You can request a visa letter during the registration process. Alternatively, you may request a letter from the FICO World 2016 Registration Team by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You must register and pay for your place before we can send you a visa letter.
What is the cancellation policy for FICO World 2016?

We’re sorry, but presentations are only available to those who attend FICO World 2016.
HOTEL & TRAVEL
What is the hotel website?
Can I arrive early or stay longer?
Yes, we have negotiated special rates 3 days prior and 3 days post FICO World. Please book the full dates when you register.
Can I bring friends or family?
Yes, they will be able to stay in your room (upon notifying the hotel), but they will be unable to join in the conference.
How do I get to the hotel?

What kind of weather should I anticipate?
Average high temperature: 66°F. Average low temperature: 42°F
Spring weather fully arrives in Americas Capital during April as the temperatures steadily rise throughout the month. During the latter half of April, the morning lows warm to the low to mid 50s f (10-12C) while the afternoon highs are most likely to reach into the low to mid 70s f (21-23C) with a few of the warmer days reaching or exceeding 82 f (about 28C). Past Aprils in Washington DC have seen extremes as high as 95f (35.0C) to as low as 24f (-4.4C).
What to wear in DC during April
A medium-weight jacket or coat will be needed for the colder days early this month, however, a sweater or a light wind breaker may be all that is required by month’s end to enjoy this city.

What is the attire for the FICO World Party?
Casual evening wear is appropriate. We will be inside.
Can I bring a guest to the FICO World Party?
Guests for the party are permitted. You can confirm this during the registration process or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have already registered.
PLEASE NOTE: The guest party pass does not include access to any sessions, breakfasts or lunches, or any other activities that are reserved for attendees with a full conference pass. No one under 21 years of age will be admitted to the FICO World Party on a guest pass. We reserve the right to refuse admission.
Are the sessions organized into different tracks?

Will audio or videotapes of the sessions be available?
No, we do not normally release video or audio of our sessions. But you will be able to access the presentations after the conference has ended (unless restricted by a presenter).
Who is speaking at FICO World 2016?

How long are the sessions?
See the agenda section for detailed information, but most sessions last 60-90 minutes.
Will session presentations be available after the conference?
PDF versions of the presentations will be made available to all attendees after FICO World 2016 has finished. You will be notified via email when the presentations are available online.
ON-SITE AT FICO WORLD 2016
Am I allowed to record any of the sessions?
All unauthorized photography and the recording or transmitting of audio or visual material, data or information is expressly prohibited.
Can I tweet during the event?
Yes, we encourage this. Use hashtag #ficoworld. But please notify the presenter you will be doing this and select a seat where you will not disturb others. The FICO World twitter account is @ficoworld.

How do I book a private consultation with someone from FICO?
You will have the opportunity to request a consultation during the registration process. To book a meeting once you’re at the conference, please visit the consult desk located in the Solutions Center.
Is meeting space available for ancillary meetings at the Washington Hilton?
There is no ancillary space available at the hotel; however we do offer private consultation time with FICO experts.
What social activities, meals and other features are included in the conference fees?
FICO World 2016 fees include the following;
- Full 4 day conference attendance [Tues.-Fri.]
- Breakfasts, lunches, and refreshments during the four days (as indicated)
- A welcome reception on Tuesday evening
- An off-site networking party on Wednesday evening
