FICO World 2013 is opening in Miami tomorrow. With more than 80 sessions presented by experts from more than 50 companies around the world, it might seem overwhelming. Whether you’re an analytic scientist, a data wonk, a wannabe, or a tech-savvy business leader, there is something for everyone at FICO World. Below is a quick guide to what we are most looking forward to:
Riveting Keynotes
Wednesday kicks-off with keynotes from FICO CEO Will Lansing and Kenneth Cukier, data editor for The Economist and co-author of Big Data: A Revolution That Will Transform How We Live, Work, and Think. Both speakers will paint a vision of a future where Big Data will give businesses unprecedented power to understand their customers and build more successful relationships — if those businesses can decode the data faster and better.
Thursday’s keynote features FICO CTO Stuart Wells. He will address the challenges in the march toward true customer intimacy – not only understanding the customer better, but the ability to act on that understanding faster. He may also give attendees a sneak peak at some new technology.
Friday will conclude with a keynote panel discussion on the ways leading banks from around the world are working to improve the customer experience. Participants include Sergio Avila, CRO, Santander Chile; Vincent Chiang, CEO, Bank of Communications (China); Lakhbir Lamba, executive vice president, PNC Bank; and Alexander Sokolov, board member, CRO, VTB24 (Russia).
Engaging Sessions
The Analytic Innovation, Decision Management Technology, and Marketing and the Customer Experience tracks are right in the FICO Labs bailiwick.
