Prerequisites
This section details the prerequisites for using Xpress Insight 5.
Software Prerequisites
Before installing Insight 5, you should install:- FICO Xpress v8,11
- Java™ 11.0.2 or later, Oracle Java or OpenJDK 11 64-bit. FICO recommends Amazon Coretto 11.
Note Keytool, shipped as part of Java, is also required.- For Linux, go to /usr/local/java/bin# ./keytool.
- For Windows, find the JDK install path and check bin folder.
- Internet Explorer 11, or the latest version of Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome
- MySQL v8 or above – If MySQL storage is preferred, this should be installed by the customer and as it is not provided by FICO.
Installing MySQL
Xpress Insight 5 can use the file storage associated with your operating system or MySQL. If you wish to use MySQL you must install your own copy of the software using MySQL version 8 or above. The installation files and instructions are available on the MySQL website.
