Mapping Xpress Insight Apps to Decision Central Workspaces

An Xpress Insight app can be exclusively mapped to a Decision Central workspace in order to support workflows.
To enable Decision Central workflow support for an Insight app, the app must be mapped to a workspace in Decision Central. The mapping creates a one-to-one relationship between the two items.
  1. Log in to DMP and open your Xpress Insight component.
  2. If it is not available, upload the app you want to integrate with Decision Central.
    Note If you upload a new app, remember to grant Users access.

  3. Log in to the Xpress Insight ADMIN page.
  4. Click the WORKFLOW link in the blue banner to open the Workflow Configuration page and view the list of Insight apps available for mapping. Click on the name of the app you wish to map.
    Note If you deploy the Decision Central component before the Xpress Insight component the WORKFLOW tab will be detected by Xpress Insight and displayed on the ADMIN pages. Otherwise, you must restart the Insight Component after deploying Decision Central to display the tab.
  5. A list of Decision Central workspaces that can be mapped is displayed. Use the drop down to select the name of the app you wish to map to Decision Central (Your Decision Central developer should provide you with the name of the workspace that the Insight app will be mapped to). Select the workspace from the drop down list and click SAVE CHANGES.
The selected Xpress Insight app is now integrated with the Decision Central workspace, and workflow steps can now be assigned. For more, see the Decision Central Administration Guide.
