Further information
1. The first form of the routine deletes a single cell of the array, when applied to a dense array the corresponding cell is only reset to its initial state. Using the second syntax of the procedure will release all cells of the array, note that in the case of a dense array the entire data set will be reallocated when the array is accessed again.
2. Deleting a cell of an array of referenced objects (like
mpvar) may not effectively release that object. Actually, a referenced object is released only when all its references have been removed. For instance, if an object appears in a set, deleting its main reference using delcell will not remove this object from the set.
