FICO Named to 2011 InformationWeek 500 List of America’s Top Technology Innovators

19 de setembro de 2011

MINNEAPOLIS — September 19, 2011 — FICO (NYSE:FICO), the leading provider of analytics and decision management technology, today announced that it has been ranked #79 on this year’s InformationWeek 500, an annual listing of the top technology innovators in the U.S. This is third year in a row FICO has been included in the InformationWeek 500, and the company’s ranking improved significantly from #165 on last year’s list.

"This ranking is a tremendous credit to our entire IT team and a natural outgrowth of FICO's culture of innovation," said Tom Grahek, vice president of information technology at FICO. "One of the strategic initiatives we implemented in 2010 was our FICO private cloud, which accelerated our product development life cycle, reduced IT service times and improved the transparency of IT costs to the business. Through this initiative and others, we are committed to providing the best technology resources for our product development community to use in developing and delivering FICO products to the market."

"For 23 years, the InformationWeek 500 has chronicled and honored the most innovative users of business technology," said Rob Preston, editor-in-chief of InformationWeek. "In this day and age, however, being innovative isn't enough. Companies and their IT organizations need to innovate faster than ever before to stay a step or two ahead of their customers, partners, and competitors. This year's ranking placed special emphasis on those high-octane business technology innovators."

InformationWeek identifies and honors the nation's most innovative users of information technology with its annual 500 listing, and also tracks the technology, strategies, investments and administrative practices of America’s best-known companies. The InformationWeek 500 rankings are unique among corporate rankings as it spotlights the power of innovation in information technology, rather than simply identifying the biggest IT spenders.
