65% of Brazilians are more likely to open an online bank account compared to last year

A FICO survey indicates the impacts of the pandemic on Brazilian banking habits and its relationship with identity proof technologies

São Paulo, March 23, 2021-

FICO, the world leader in decision-making and predictive analytics software, conducted a study in 14 countries, including Brazil, on the changes that Covid-19 caused in the relationship between consumers and banks. The survey indicates that the pandemic has accelerated the digital transformation of the population, with 65% of Brazilians more willing to open an online bank account compared to 2020.
