European Operator Bouygues Telecom Adopts Fair Isaac's RoamEx Fraud Solution

(Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA) - Fair Isaac Corporation (NYSE:FIC), the leading provider of analytics and decision technology, today announced that French wireless telecommunications provider Bouygues Telecom has selected Fair Isaac's RoamEx® roamer data exchanger to enhance inbound roaming revenue and reduce roaming fraud for their roaming partners.

Through the agreement, Bouygues Telecom joins a roster of 75 telecommunications networks worldwide that currently leverage the RoamEx network, the leading roamer visibility network, to exchange roaming data and grow their business. The RoamEx network will help Bouygues Telecom increase roaming revenues income gained while mobile phone users are roaming on the Bouygues Telecom network from foreign networks. It also will help the provider decrease fraud losses by providing roaming call detail records in near real-time.

Roaming fraud occurs when a subscriber who does not intend to pay moves from the home operator network to another operator network and takes advantage of the home operator's lack of visibility of subscriber activity. By automatically sending completed call detail records covering voice, message and data calls from the serving operator to the home operator within seconds, RoamEx provides wider visibility of a roaming subscriber and allows the home operator to identify and respond almost immediately to a potential fraud threat.

Fair Isaac's RoamEx Roamer Data Exchanger is the industry's only proven real-time roamer visibility network and serves as one foundation for Fair Isaac's suite of telecommunications applications to address fraud, credit risk management and account management decision making. RoamEx network handles 95 percent of all roaming call records for the North America wireless industry and currently processes over two billion call detail records every month around the globe for more than 75 wireless networks.

Fair Isaac provides day-to-day management, monitoring, product maintenance and technical support for the RoamEx network, making the wireless carriers' resource commitment minimal.
