UBS Card Center prevents 74% more fraud with FICO AI and machine learning

Award from Retail Banker International Awards recognize UBS Card Center’s success stopping fraud using the FICO® Falcon® Platform

UBS Card Center processes approximately 25% of all credit card transactions in Switzerland. By using FICO® Falcon®, the company not only reduced fraud write-offs per credit card, but also prevented more fraudulent transactions and minimized the number of false positives. The credit card processor stopped 74% more fraudulent transactions in 2016 than in 2015. This success was made possible by using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the latest machine learning techniques on the Falcon platform, as well as FICO® Fraud Predictor with merchant profiles and adaptive analytics.

For this achievement, UBS Card Center won the FICO Decisions Award 2017 in the Fraud Prevention category.
