(Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA) - Fair Isaac Corporation (NYSE: FIC), the leading provider of analytics and decision management technology, today announced that American Airlines has agreed to purchase an enterprise license of its Xpress-MP suite of modeling and optimization tools.
Xpress-MP is designed to help organizations solve large-scale challenges and make critical resource allocation, asset management and scheduling decisions. It includes a set of advanced tools for users to develop their own optimization models.
"As the operator of one of the world's most advanced airline networks, American Airlines faces large-scale, enormously complex optimization challenges that have to be solved within very tight time constraints," said Dr. Andrew Jennings, chief research officer, Fair Isaac. "We are pleased that AA concluded that the combination of Xpress-MP, Mosel, Xpress-Application developer and Fair Isaac's support is a great fit to their long-term decision optimization needs. That's a powerful endorsement."
