Fair Isaac's industry-leading Blaze Advisor™ for .NET will enhance the Microsoft business process technology platform (including BizTalk Server and Windows Workflow Foundation) and deliver additional value to customers by providing an integrated solution for developing, deploying and maintaining rules-based business applications for increased enterprise agility and operational control.
Blaze Advisor for .NET software is the leading Microsoft .NET-based rules management technology for managing and automating business decision processes. Enterprise ecosystems demand greater flexibility in integrating agile, rules-based decisioning services, customizing business processes or modernizing legacy systems. The Blaze Advisor suite offers deployment capabilities for those strategies in a wide range of platforms.
The Microsoft BPM platform provides end-to-end process enablement, combiningBizTalk Server 2006, Office SharePoint Server 2007, the 2007 Microsoft Office system, the .NET Framework 3 and Windows Workflow Foundation to empower organizations to rapidly and efficiently build adaptive, mission-critical BPM solutions and connect people, process and performance.
As part of the Business Process Alliance, Fair Isaac is announcing plans for more tightly integrating its Blaze Advisor for .NET software with BizTalk Server to enable a wider range of rules-driven, connected business processes. This will allow end-to-end business process orchestrations automated by BizTalk Server to easily invoke the sophisticated rules capabilities of Blaze Advisor for .NET. Blaze Advisor rules will also be able to access the BizTalk Server Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) platform, and can make optimal use of the powerful service integration and composition capabilities of BizTalk Server to integrate/wrap line of business applications, legacy platforms, or custom systems. Blaze Advisor can take advantage of the comprehensive integration adapter suite and web services tools in BizTalk Server to abstract back-end system information out of the business processes.
Fair Isaac also announced its use of BizTalk Server as a strategic platform component of its upcoming ScoreNet® network hosted service. Using BizTalk Server as the central service oriented architecture and business process coordinator enables a richer set of services to be easily exposed to Fair Isaac's customers, differentiating its ScoreNet offering in the marketplace.
"Fair Isaac has demonstrated an ability to simplify complex business processes and deliver outstanding value to customers," said Steven Martin, Director of the Connected Systems Product Management at Microsoft Corp. "Blaze Advisor for .NET on the Microsoft platform helps our customers develop complex applications faster, respond quickly to changing business factors, and reduce the cost of day-to-day operations."
Blaze Advisor for .NET gives business managers and analysts a powerful tool to create and manage their business strategies, and ensure governance across critical information systems, using straightforward business terms. By increasing their control of the business logic embedded in their IT systems, Blaze Advisor for .NET allows users to maintain and improve application performance without IT assistance. Rules can be modified quickly and easily, increasing business agility. Blaze Advisor for .NET deploys rule services that interoperate with Microsoft BizTalk Server, .NET languages such as C#, Visual Basic .NET, and Visual J#, as well as XML, messaging, databases, and Web Services, offering a powerful combination of enterprise decision management coupled with actionable business processes and workflows.
"We are pleased to enter this new strategic relationship with Microsoft, which combines the premier platform for process enablement with one of today's fastest and most flexible rules management solutions," said Mark Layden, vice president of Enterprise Decision Management technologies at Fair Isaac. "Blaze Advisor for .NET provides IT leaders with unmatched integration options, enhanced performance and resources that allow them to take full advantage of their existing investments in the Microsoft platform."
