Poland Continues to Leave Fraud Unchecked
Whilst Poland remains near the bottom of the basis points chart, attack levels have increased by over 300% in 2021 – with basis points climbing from 0.29 to 1.18. Poland also posted the fourth highest loss percentage increase in Europe, with annual fraud losses incrementing by ~€0.5M in relative value.
These trends are concerning, and without appropriate action to implement suitable defences and upskill fraud teams Poland could find themselves in an extremely challenging position if fraud threat levels increase further over the coming year.
