Configuring LDAP User Authentication

The following steps outline the process to enable LDAP user authentication.
The steps assume that Xpress Insight server and LDAP server have already been installed.
  1. Open the web page at http://<hostname>:8860/insightadmin (where <hostname> is the computer hosting Xpress Insight Server), and log in with an account that has administrator privileges.
  2. From any of the main pages within the Web Admin client, select LDAP from the header bar to access the LDAP Configuration page.
  3. Click Edit to edit the LDAP configuration.
  4. Enter the appropriate values into the fields displayed on the Edit LDAP Configuration page. Check Enable and click Save.
