Purpose

Get the natural logarithm of a value.

Synopsis

function ln(r:real):real

Argument

r	Real value the function is applied to. This value must be positive.

Return value

Natural logarithm of the argument.

Example

The following example provides a function for calculating logarithms to any (positive) base:

 if (number > 0 and base > 0) then
  returned:= ln(number)/ln(base)
