Inserting Levels
All decision nodes on a single level represent a segment of the same decision variable.
A level is automatically created when you insert a split. Alternatively, you can insert all of the levels in your decision tree before adding splits because the Insert Level command is available only when you first begin building a tree. After you add a split, this command is not available. However, you can add additional levels by choosing a decision node and selecting .
To insert levels - before any splits have been added:
- Select the Start node.
- Select or select the command from the shortcut menu.
- Repeat to insert more levels.
