Tableau Configuration

The TABLEAU tab is used to view and maintain the integration with Tableau. It also provides the facility to check on the integration with Tableau and to check and synchronize the user accounts in the two applications.

Note This document discusses only the TABLEAU USER STATUS report and the SYNC TABLEAU USERS report. For information on the Tableau integration settings, editing these, and the RUN HEALTH CHECK feature, consult the FICO Xpress Insight Installation Guide.
Note Tableau integration is not available with a Community licence.
From any of the main pages, click TABLEAU to access the Tableau Configuration page. This page shows the status of the integration of Tableau and Xpress Insight.

  • Tableau User Status Report
    When you click TABLEAU USER STATUS, the Xpress Insight server performs a comparison with the user details in Xpress Insight with the users in Tableau for the configured Tableau URL plus an optional site identifier.
  • Sync Tableau Users
    When you click SYNC TABLEAU USERS the Xpress Insight server performs a comparison with the user details in Xpress Insight with the users in Tableau for the configured Tableau URL, plus an optional site identifier.
