This chapter is a self-contained introduction to using Xpress Insight alongside Xpress Workbench – a modern development environment that supports the development and publishing of Xpress Insight apps. In this chapter, we walk through a workflow in which a business problem is formulated as a Mosel model and transformed by stages into an interactive Xpress Insight app.

This is not an exhaustive introduction - rather, it provides a flavor of the activities necessary to build an Xpress Insight solution using Xpress Workbench as a development environment. Its goal is to get you started on the road to building your own Xpress Insight apps, not to make you an expert.
