Securing the Xpress Insight Installation Files
The
Xpress Insight installer program sets the files it places on the target machine to be accessible by everyone.
The file permissions for the following two directories should be changed to secure access to the files such that only the account which is used to run the
Xpress Insight Server and PostgreSQL service have read and write access:
- <installdir>\insight\db\pgsql\data
- <installdir>\insight\server\wildfly-9.0.1.Final
