Running a Scenario

This task describes how to run a single scenario through the Scenario Explorer.
Running the scenario sends the input data to the optimization model at the heart of the application for processing. The results are returned on completion.
  1. From the Home page, select the app containing the scenario.
    The App page is displayed.
  2. Click the Shelf to open the Scenario Explorer.
  3. (Optional) If you want the scenario to be placed on the App page shelf, select a scenario.
  4. Hover over the scenario name and click the Open Menu icon.
  5. Select Run from the pop-up list.
    The name of the scenario displays a spinner icon to indicate that the scenario is running.
  6. Click CLOSE to close the Scenario Explorer.
If you selected the scenario a copy of the run scenario is placed on the App page shelf.
