Editing the Xpress Insight Companion File

The companion file contains the configuration for an Xpress Insight app, including the custom views exposed by the app. See the Xpress Insight Developers Guide for more information. Edit the Xpress Insight companion file and add a declaration for the new VDL view as follows:

  1. In the file tree, double-click application.xml to open the file.
  2. Locate the view-group XML element where the custom views for the app are defined.
  3. Replace this XML element and its children with the following code: 
    <view-group title="Main">
 <vdl-view title="Welcome" path="welcome.vdl" default="true"
     requires-scenarios-loaded="false"/>
 <vdl-view title="Input" path="input.vdl"/>
 <vdl-view title="Results" path="results.vdl"/>
</view-group>
  4. Click File > Save.
