Updating Users From LDAP

When LDAP is enabled, the UPDATE FROM LDAP button is enabled on the List users page.

Clicking the UPDATE FROM LDAP button opens a modal dialog box showing the status of the update process. The Xpress Insight server will attempt to update the first name, last name, and email address of all users within Xpress Insight that are not local accounts . If Xpress Insight is not able to update an account, a message will be written to the Xpress Insight server log file.

If Xpress Insight is unable to connect to LDAP, the failure to connect will be shown in the modal dialog.

When you close the modal dialog, Xpress Insight refreshes the List users page and shows the updated user details.

Note LDAP integration is not available with a Community licence.
