Installing the Execution Worker

You can install the Execution Worker separately.
Note that you must have Java 11 installed on the client machine and there must be an installation of the core Xpress software on the target machine. The following builds are supported:
  • Oracle Java 11 64bit Hotspot. Minimum version 11.0.2. We recommend the latest version 11 update.
  • OpenJDK 11 64bit Hotspot. Minimum version 11.0.2. We recommend the latest version 11 update.
  1. Select Execution Worker.
  2. Deselect the Server and database feature.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Click Install. The files required for the Execution Worker will be copied to the target machine. The software will then be installed as a Windows service and started.
  5. A progress page shows the state of the installation.
  6. Click Finish to complete the installation.
  7. After the installation you may see the following dialog. Click the appropriate response.
