Setting XPRS_VERBOSE to true makes the software display the log of the LP solver: some information about the problem size (numbers of constraints, variables, non-zero coefficients, and MIP entities) and a log of the simplex algorithm. If you re-run the model without the bound updates from CP to LP you may observe a slightly larger number of Simplex iterations.
