Using the insightcmd Command Line Tool

The insightcmd command line tool can export and import the repository at both the app and the whole repository level.

You can export and import the whole repository, you can choose to export and import a single named app, or you can export/import all apps.

Note that an export of all apps is not equivalent to exporting the whole repository. A repository level export contains system configuration such as user accounts and execution service configurations.

insightcmd is identical on both Windows and Linux systems but any paths you provide must conform to the accepted operating system syntax.

The command line tool is located at: 
%XPRESSDIR%\bin\insightcmd
