Cloning and Deselecting a Scenario

This exercise shows you how to clone the scenario you selected in the previous exercise and then deselect the original scenario.
Before you can continue with this part of the tutorial you must have completed the previous tasks.

For this exercise you will clone Scenario 1 to create a scenario called Scenario 1A and then remove the original scenario from the Shelf.

  1. Click on the Scenario 1 tab and select Clone from the drop-down list.
    The Clone Scenario dialog box opens.
  2. In the Name field rename the scenario to Scenario 1A and click OK.
    Important The App page does not display the cloned scenario. You will have to select it from the Scenario Explorer to place it on the Shelf.
  3. Open the Scenario Explorer and select Scenario 1A. You can also clear Scenario 1 to remove it from the Shelf. Click CLOSE.
    The Shelf shows the selected scenarios.
  4. (Optional) If you did not clear Scenario 1 when selecting Scenario 1A, you can click the Scenario 1 tab and click Deselect from the drop-down list.
    The scenario is removed from the Shelf. It has not been deleted from the app and can be selected again through the Scenario Explorer.

Now go and use the Scenario Explorer to select Scenario 1A and place it on the Shelf for the next exercise.
