Using a Static License
Note: This section applies to Option_1 (Node-locked) and Option_2 (USB Dongle) licenses.
- Install the license file (xpauth.xpr) that you received from FICO Support by saving/copying the file into your xpressmp\bin directory.
For UNIX machines, copy the xpauth.xpr file into a convenient directory, such as xpress/bin, and set the XPRESS environment variable to the following directory:bash$ export XPRESS=/opt/xpressmp/bin csh% setenv XPRESS /opt/xpressmp/bin
The XPRESS environment variable is only used by Xpress to find the license file and only on Unix. Setting XPRESS on Windows will have no effect. - You are now ready to use the Xpress product.
