XPRSsetmessagestatus

XPRSsetmessagestatus

Purpose
Manages suppression of messages.
Synopsis
int XPRS_CC XPRSsetmessagestatus(XPRSprob prob, int errcode, int status);
Arguments
prob
The problem for which message errcode is to have its suppression status changed; pass NULL if the message should have the status apply globally to all problems.
errcode
The id number of the message. Refer to the section Return Codes and Error Messages for a list of possible message numbers.
status
Non-zero if the message is not suppressed; 0 otherwise. If a value for status is not supplied in the command-line call then the console Optimizer prints the value of the suppression status to screen i.e., non-zero if the message is not suppressed; 0 otherwise.
Example
Attempting to optimize a problem that has no matrix loaded gives error 91. The following code uses XPRSsetmessagestatus to suppress the error message:
XPRScreateprob(&prob);
XPRSsetmessagestatus(prob,91,0);
XPRSlpoptimize(prob,"");
Further information
If a message is suppressed globally then the message can only be enabled for any problem once the global suppression is removed with a call to XPRSsetmessagestatus with prob passed as NULL.
