Xpress Insight is part of FICO's Decision Management Suite, and is designed to coexist and interoperate with a range of other applications.

FICO® Xpress Workbench

Xpress Workbench an application for creating and editing Xpress Insight apps and Python models, additionally it can debug Xpress Insight apps. It is available in two forms—a browser-based web application and a standalone desktop version. It enables you to:
  • Create and edit source files
  • Publish Xpress Insight apps to an Xpress Insight server
  • Debug an Xpress Insight scenario while it is executing within an Xpress Insight server
  • Build Xpress Insight app archives
  • Author and edit Python models for use in any solver

The development workflow in this guide is based on the close coupling between Xpress Workbench and Xpress Insight.

FICO® Decision Optimizer

Decision Optimizer is a configurable web-based Decision Management application designed to help automate, improve and connect operational business decisions without requiring custom software development. It enables business professionals to configure their own models in a visual development environment and is implemented as an Xpress Insight app.

FICO® Xpress Executor

Xpress Executor enables you to deploy an Xpress Mosel model or an MPS/LP problem as an optimization execution service on the FICO Analytic Cloud (FAC). The deployed web service exposes an interface which a calling solution can use to send input data, request execution, poll for status and retrieve results.
