Editing Attachment Content

You can edit the contents of many files (exceptions include .xlsx files) attached to an app or a scenario. When editing is available, at the very minimum, you can use a syntax-aware text editor. Depending on your app, it may make sense to use a more specialized editor if offered—certain file extensions permit editing by several types of editor. For more, see Using the Attachment Editors.
Note You cannot edit the contents of a file attached to a scenario when the scenario is queued or executing.
  1. From the Home page, open an app.
  2. Complete one of the following actions:
    • Open the App Attachments dialog box using the Action Menu icon if you want to edit the contents of an attachment at the app level.
    • Open the Scenario Attachments dialog box using the scenario's Open Menu icon if you want to edit the contents of an attachment at the scenario level.
  3. Locate the relevant attachment in the list and click the Select Editor icon Select an Editor .

    A popup menu displays the available editors.

  4. Click to choose an appropriate editor from the list.

    The attachment is presented for editing in your chosen editor.
