FICO^® Xpress Executor provides standalone support for optimization execution services. It executes Xpress Mosel models using the Xpress optimization engines. In addition to Mosel models, Xpress Executor can solve problems in the industry-standard MPS and LP formats. It provides SOAP and REST interfaces to be either used within the FICO^® Decision Management Platform or from external applications. FICO Xpress Executor is an excellent choice for solution builders who need to deploy an Xpress-based optimization model as an execution service for invocation by an external application. It is also a great choice for an optimization model developer looking for information on the model prerequisites for cloud deployment.

When an Xpress solution is created, it has an empty un-managed database provisioned at the solution level that is available exclusively for development (Scenario data, Tableau mirror data, and all decision models are held separately). All Xpress components (Insight, Workbench, and Executor) deployed in the same solution at the same lifecycle stage will share this solution database.
