  FICO® Xpress Insight is an extensible application for deploying optimization models, and it provides a host of features including scenario management, execution, and data analysis.

  Use the information in this chapter to learn about the Xpress Insight pages and icons. Also included is a simple tutorial to help you get started.
• Working with the Scenario Manager
  The Scenario Manager is used to select which scenarios are available on the shelf of an Insight app.
• Using the Scenario Shelf
  App views provide a means to edit and report on scenarios. The scenarios accessible to the views are determined by the state of the grey selection shelf. To be accessed by a view, a scenario must be on the shelf.
• Viewing the Data
  An Xpress Insight app will include one or more application-specific views of the scenario data.
• Working with the Entity Explorer
  From an open scenario, Advanced Users, User Administrators, and Developers can access the Entity Explorer under the Advanced group in the list of view groups drop-down menu. The Entity Explorer gives you direct access to the entities of a model.
• Attaching Files
  You can upload attachments to apps that will be available for all scenarios within the app or you can upload attachments to a single scenario, which is available for that scenario only.
• Using the Attachment Editors
  Xpress Insight enables you to interact with, manipulate and edit several attachment types, such as text files, decision trees, decision tables and so on.
