Creating the Super Administration User

Decision Central must be configured with an Integration Service Account that has been granted the Super Administrator role to be able to integrate Xpress Insight.
Set up the Integration Service Account

The Decision Central user account that was created when the software was initially enabled also has the Super Administrator role and can be used to configure the Integration Service Account.

  1. Log in to Decision Central on DMP and confirm you are assigned the Super Administrator Role. (The URL to access Decision Central can be obtained from the MYTASKS tab in Xpress Insight.)
  2. Navigate to the DMP Solution administration page. Click the link in the Name column to open the Solution that hosts the Xpress Insight and Decision Central component.
  3. In the leftmost menu, click on Client Apps.
  4. Use the COPY button to copy the value shown in the Client ID field to the clipboard.
  5. Return to Decision Central on DMP. Click ADMINISTRATION > Users to display the user list. Click CREATE USER.
  6. In the Create User dialog, enter the following:
    Field Value
    User ID Paste the <client id> copied in step #4
    First name Insight
    Last name Integration account
    Email void@void.com
  7. Click CREATE to add the Integration Service Account.
  8. In the ADMINISTRATION > Users page, click on the ellipses in the rightmost Actions column on the row containing the newly created user, and select Roles to open the Role Management dialog for the Service Account.
  9. Select the checkbox to make the user a Super Administrator. Click SAVE.
