What's New in FICO® Xpress Insight 4.57+

This section describes the new features and changes introduced with FICO® Xpress Insight 4.57+

New in Release 4.57.1

  • Upgraded to use the latest Xpress 8.13 release.
  • Python interface v1.2.1
    • Added test mode functions add_item_info and clear_item_infos to Insight application interface.
    • Added function scenario_parent_path to Insight application interface.
    • Added RepositoryPath class for building and parsing of repository paths.

Important changes in Release 4.57.0

These are changes that may affect how existing apps operate. It is important that you read the following notes and check that your apps comply before upgrading to this version of Xpress Insight.

VDL and JS API
  • Support for JS API/VDL v3.2 and older API versions has been removed, as it was no longer possible to upgrade the software libraries used in these API versions to include the latest security fixes. When a view using these versions is accessed within Xpress Insight, a message is displayed stating that JS API or VDL version is not available. The version check is only performed when the view is opened and will not stop existing applications from being uploaded or opened in Xpress Insight. New in Release 4.57

  • Tableau 2020.4 and Tableau 2021.1 are now supported
