xpressinsight.AppInterface.get_item_info

Purpose
Get information for a repository item with the supplied path.
Synopsis
get_item_info(self, path: str) -> xpressinsight.ItemInfo
Argument
path: str 
Path to the repository item.
Return value
Information about the repository item (scenario / folder).
Example
Example of using get_item_info to obtain info for a scenario. 
>>> info = insight.get_item_info('/my_app/my_scenario')
Example of using get_item_info with error handling to obtain info for the current scenario. 
>>> @xi.ExecModeLoad()
... def load(self):
...     try:
...         info = self.insight.get_item_info(".")
...         print(info)
...     except xi.InterfaceError as ex:
...         print(ex)
Further information
Raises InterfaceError on failure.
