Setting up your Development Environment

The initial installation of FICO^® Xpress includes the Mosel modelling language.

To get the best from this chapter, you should have access to the latest versions of Xpress Insight and FICO^® Xpress Workbench, hosted either on your own on-premises infrastructure, or on the FICO Analytic Cloud (FAC).

• To install the on-premises software, please read the Xpress Installation Guide for installing FICO^® Xpress (contains Xpress Workbench) and the Insight Installation Guide for Xpress Insight.

• If you are using the FAC hosted versions of the software then the assumption is that your account and software have already been provisioned.

Note: There are some minor differences between on-premises and FAC versions of Xpress Workbench. With a few logical accommodations you will still be able to follow the exercises and progression of this chapter.
