Restricting the Data Source to Authorities and Authority Groups

By using the insight_authorities and insight_authority_groups tables provided in the mirror, it is possible to control the data displayed in the view based on security set against the user in the system.

For instance, a user could be given an authority that corresponds to a certain region. The workbook author could then restrict the data being displayed in the view to only select data for a certain region matching the specific authority and therefore limit what each user can see.

Note: Care should be taken when joining in user authorities against data sources, as a user could conceivably have multiple authorities represented in the data, potentially causing the data to be counted multiple times.
