Installing the PostgreSQL driver
The PostgreSQL driver is therefore required on the Linux server where Tableau Server is installed. This should be downloaded from the Tableau website on the Tableau Support Driver Download page. In the filter fields presented on this page set Data Source to PostgreSQL, Operating System to Linux and Bit Version to 64 bit and download the appropriate driver from there. After it has downloaded, install the PostgreSQL driver.
