Restoring Retained Apps and Completing the Installation

If you backed up your repository from a previous version of Xpress Insight, you should now restore it to complete the installation.

Use the import option of the insightcmd command to restore your apps.

Example Usage

Importing an app export file - either a single app or an export that contains all apps
insightcmd import [-u|--user <user>] [-p|--password <password>] app /path/to/apps.insight
The following example uses admin as the admin account name and admin123 as the admin password:
insightcmd import –u admin –p admin123 app /path/to/apps.insight
Importing a whole-repository export file
insightcmd import [-u|--user <user>] [-p|--password <password>] repository /path/to/file.insight
The following example uses admin as the admin account name and admin123 as the admin password:
insightcmd import –u admin –p admin123 repository /path/to/repository.insight

Details of the insightcmd command line tool can be found in the Xpress Insight User and System Administrator Guide, and in the FICO online documentation.
