Initializing help system before first use

vdl-spinner

Adds an spinner element to the view. This will be styled exactly like the built-in loading and execution overlay spinners within Insight. It will be positioned inline, so it is up to you to provide the container layout and a separate message element for the spinner.

since 4.8

Example

<!-- Inserts spinner with custom message that aligns with built-in view loading spinner -->
<vdl-section layout="fluid">
  <vdl-row>
    <vdl-column>
      <style>
        .custom-spinner { flex-direction: column; padding-top: 80px; padding-right: 15px; width: 100%; align-content: center; text-align: center; }
      </style>
      <vdl-container class="custom-spinner">
        <vdl-spinner></vdl-spinner>
        <div vdl-text="Custom wait message"></div>
      </vdl-container>
    </vdl-column>
  </vdl-row>
</vdl-section>
