Automatic Log Retention
When a log reaches a pre-configured size, or the preconfigured time period has passed, it will be renamed, and a new log started. Logs are also zipped as they roll over. Any existing log file with the same name will be renamed with the next number in the sequence. For example, insight-server.log.2022-03-28.0.gz will be renamed insight-server.log.2022-03-28.1.gz and so on up to a maximum of entries. When the folder contains the maximum number of back up files, the oldest will not be renamed, and will be deleted.
