Managing Solutions

As a Solution Administrator, you have permission to add, import and export, and manage the Solution assigned to you.
The SOLUTIONS page displays the list of Solutions you are authorized to access.
This page provides quick access to the Solutions you can administer. It lets you:
  • Create, Import, or Delete a Solution.
  • Integrate your Components into a selected Solution.
  • Go to the catalog of Components to add additional functionality to your Solution.
  • Administer which Team Members have access, by sharing the Solution.
  • Edit the Solution properties, such as the name of the Solution.

  • Creating a New Solution
    Create a new solution to develop and manage decision logic and define decision services.
  • Adding a Solution
    The user who creates a Solution assumes the Administrator role for the Solution.
  • Deleting a Solution
    You may need to delete a Solution after it has successfully been exported and imported into a new target environment.
  • Importing a Solution
    The target environment must be specified when a Solution is exported. Previously exported Solutions can then be imported into the correct target environment.
  • Renaming a Solution
    If you use a standardized naming convention, you may need to rename a solution after it has migrated between environments.
  • Exporting a Solution
    Solutions are exported to migrate them between environments, such as when moving through the development lifecycle.
