New Functionality and Changes Introduced since Decision Optimizer 8.4

This section describes the new features and changes introduced with Decision Optimizer 8.4.

Added in Decision Optimizer 8.4

This release will require users to update to Xpress 8.13 and Xpress Insight 4.57.1.

Consequently, this mean that DO8.4 will also now support Tableau for FICO 2021.1, with the minimum version of 2019.2.

Global Constraints

Introduced Distribution and Relative constraints to handle a variety of use cases, including but not limited to:
  • User can more efficiently add and apply distributionconstraints to actions/treatments.

    For example, user can mandate that the frequency of accounts assigned a specific action (such as "Price = 12.99"), must be at least 20,000 (for a dataset with 100,000 accounts).

  • User can now add and apply relative global constraints across segments.

    For example, user could specify that the average exposure of Segment A (Risk Score > 740) should be greater than the average exposure of Segment B (Risk Score 720 -< 740).
