Integrating Xpress Insight with Tableau

Xpress Insight can be integrated with Tableau Server for enhanced data visualizations.

To integrate Xpress Insight with Tableau, there are a number of prerequisites:

  • Insight has been configured with a MySQL database for exposing the data to Tableau. See Using MySQL for the Mirror Storage for more information.
  • A Tableau Server is available for use with Xpress Insight either as an existing organisational server or a new installation for dedicated Xpress Insight use. For instruction on installing a new Tableau Server for Xpress Insight, see Installing and Upgrading Tableau Server.
