Uninstalling Xpress Insight

Xpress Insight can be uninstalled.

Administrative privileges for the host machine may be required to complete this task.

Uninstalling Xpress Insight 5 in Windows

Use the Windows Control Panel to uninstall the programs that make up Xpress Insight .
  1. From the Windows Start menu, depending on your operating system version, either:
    • select Control Panel > Programs and Features (click the Start icon, and enter the letters "co" to search for the control panel.)
    • select Settings (gear icon) > Apps.
  2. Uninstall all FICO Xpress Insight programs.
  3. Restart your machine.
  4. After uninstallation, the following folder will still be present on the file system. Delete C:\Program Files\FICO\XpressInsight.

Uninstalling Xpress Insight 5 in Linux

Uninstall the relevant package by its name using the RPM erase flag (-e | --erase). For example:
rpm --erase “fico-xpress-insight-server”
rpm --erase “fico-xpress-insight-worker”
After uninstallation, the following files will still be present on the file system. This is designed to assist in re-installation.
  • Log files under /var/log/fico-xpress-insight-server and /var/log/fico-xpress-insight-worker.
  • The /etc/fico-xpress-insight-server/ and /etc/fico-xpress-insight-worker/directories containing:
    • configuration files.
    • the Insight truststore (insight-cacerts).
    • the Insight execution authentication KeyStore and certificate (insight-execution-keystore, insight-execution-jwt.cert).
