Listing, Adding and Deleting SSO Users

Use the Admin page to view the list of user accounts recognized by Xpress Insight.
Insight supports SAML Just-in-Time (JIT) user provisioning. The first time an authenticated user is forwarded by the IdP, Insight automatically creates a new user account. There is no way to create a new user in Insight directly. Insight user accounts cannot be deleted while SSO integration is active.
Note: Insight does not support the System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) for synchronizing user identity information. However, when a user logs in using SSO, Insight does use the SAML attributes it discovers during login to update the user attributes and privileges.

Clicking on a user in the list opens the Edit User view. Insight updates a user's account details with those forwarded by the IdP upon each login of the user. All fields of the user account are read-only, except for the enable/disable option. This option allows you to disable an Insight account independent of the IdP.

  1. Click ADMIN to open the ADMIN page.
  2. In the USER MANAGEMENT pane, click Users.
