Sending Updates from the Model
Progress entities are only updated on demand when the model explicitly wants to send an update. This is done in the model by calling self.insight.send_progress_update()
.
Progress events are emitted to all views observing an execution mode which has been enabled for progress updates. If an execution mode has not been annotated to send progress information, then any call to send_progress_update()
will not emit progress data. This avoids traffic between worker and client and helps retain overall system performance.
