Built-in Column Calculation

Datagrid columns can show a calculation at the foot of each column.
The bottom-calc attribute can be added inside a <vdl-datagrid-column> entity to add a calculation to the foot of the column. You can supply a custom function for the calculation or one of the following values:
  • avg - displays the average of the column numerical data
  • max - displays highest numerical data in the column
  • min - displays the lowest numerical data in the column
  • sum - displays the sum of the columns numerical data
  • concat - concatenates all column data
  • count - displays the number of data entries in the column

To define a custom function, you must use the following variables:
Variable Description
values Array of column values (string|boolean|number)
data All table data string
calcParams Parameters passed from the column definition object Array.<(string|boolean|number)>
