Developing for Insight on FICO® Platform

FICO® Platform is available on the FICO® Analytic Cloud (FAC) or can be installed on-premises.

FICO Xpress Insight is implemented as a component instance on FICO® Platform. After the Xpress Insight Component is successfully provisioned, authorized users can access Xpress Insight your chosen hosting solution.

All Xpress Insight developer information is contained in the Mosel and Python developer guides. If you accepted the default settings during installation, these can be found at:

<INSTALLDIR>\xpressmp\docs\insight

Note: Files of some potentially insecure types cannot be used as app or scenario attachments. If you have the Xpress Insight server hosted on-premises, you can configure which file types are allowed. However, the FICO® Platform version of the Xpress Insight server does not allow attachments with the following extensions: apk, asp, aspx, bat, bin, c, cc, class, conf, cpp, css, dll, exe, gif, iso, java, js, jse, jsp, lib, php, phps, phtml, properties, ps1, rar, rpm, sh, swf, tar, tga, tiff, vb, vbe, vbs, vbscript, war, xlm, xlsm, xltm, xsdt. The server blocks any import or upload of a repository, app, folder, or scenario that contains any attachments with these extensions. For more on configuring the extension blocklist for an on-premises installation, see Securing Xpress Insight.
