xpressinsight.AppInterface.attach_status

Purpose

Property indicating the status of the most recent attempt to access or modify an attachment on the current thread. Setting this property will only change the value returned by future reads from this current thread.

It's recommended that apps should set the raise_attach_exceptions attribute of either the AppConfig or AppInterface class to True, which removes the need to check the attach_status property.`

Further information
1. The property attach_status is part of the class xpressinsight.AppInterface.
2. To maintain backwards compatibility, attachment operations will only raise exceptions on error if the raise_attach_exceptions attribute of either the AppConfig or AppInterface class is set to True. When this is not the case, after every call to an attachment-related function or procedure, you should check the value of insight.attach_status to see if your request succeeded.
3. The attach_status property may not be set to AttachStatus.IN_PROGRESS.
